Filming Studio For Video Production

A great video production starts with the right space. When your production requires a controlled, reliable environment, Vivid Media’s filming studio for video production at Kallang Place is designed to meet a wide range of production needs.

Spanning approximately 598 square feet, the studio supports corporate interviews, portrait photography, green screen setups, livestreams, and other on-camera content like podcasts. It comfortably accommodates up to four on-screen talents and can be configured to suit each production’s requirements. More importantly, clients who engage Vivid Media benefit from working directly with our in-house production team. Hence, this eliminates the need to coordinate separate studio, filming, and post-production vendors for editing.

This article sets out exactly what our filming studio for video production offers, the kind of productions it has already supported, and the questions worth asking before you book it.

A Filming Studio For Video Production Built For Flexibility, Not A Fixed Look

Our filming studio for video production is located within Vivid Media’s office at 30 Kallang Place, Singapore. Our studio space measures approximately 598 square feet and comfortably supports up to four on‑screen talents at once. Rather than committing to a single aesthetic, we have kept the environment deliberately neutral. This versatility allows our production team to reconfigure the space to suit each project, regardless of the format. By not locking the studio into one visual style, we ensure that the tone of your video is defined by your creative direction, not by the limitations of the space itself.

This flexibility is particularly useful for projects where the same studio needs to support different scenes during one production day. Instead of committing the entire room to a fixed set, we can adjust the arrangement, seating, backdrop and other visual elements according to the requirements of the shoot. For projects that require a more controlled visual environment, Vivid Media also provides green screen filming.

Our filming studio for video production is not a themed backdrop that clients have to work around. It is a blank canvas that our team dresses according to the production, whether that means portrait photography, an on-camera interview, or a scripted corporate video.

Limitless Possibilities For Your Next Shoot

A filming studio should offer creative freedom, not constraints. At Vivid Media, our studio is designed to adapt, supporting a wide range of corporate and creative productions.

Portrait photography and interview filming setup

For portrait and interview work, we provide a 2.7-metre-wide backdrop available in standard white, grey and black, wide enough to accommodate a full-body shot and comfortably fit up to two people in frame. Alongside the backdrop, we offer three to four seating configurations depending on the production style. These include tall chairs paired with a high table, a sofa setup for a more relaxed conversational feel, and individual armchairs for a formal one-on-one interview format.

Wired connectivity for livestreaming and hybrid productions

The studio is fitted with a wired connection to business fibre broadband, which makes it a dependable option for hybrid live streaming production. A wired connection avoids the drop-outs and bandwidth competition that can come with relying on shared office Wi-Fi, which matters when a livestream is going out to a remote audience in real time and cannot afford to buffer or disconnect midway through a segment.

For clients running a hybrid town hall, a product launch with a virtual audience, or a livestreamed panel discussion, this is one of the more practical reasons to choose our filming studio for video production over a rented external venue where connectivity is often unknown until the day itself.

Convenient location and client-first flexibility

Located at Kallang Place near the city fringe, our studio offers easy accessibility for corporate clients travelling from across Singapore. The building provides ample parking for crews arriving with equipment and a nearby canteen for lunch breaks, which becomes especially valuable on longer shoot days when multiple talents and crew members need a proper meal without losing time to travel.

Inside the studio, we have also added thoughtful touches like a filtered water dispenser. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference during full‑day filming sessions under studio lights, helping guests and talents stay comfortable and hydrated between takes.

Because the studio is reserved primarily for Vivid Media’s own productions, clients benefit from greater availability and scheduling flexibility. The space remains consistent and well‑maintained, free from unrelated bookings or events. And since filming takes place in our in‑house studio, we don’t charge transportation fees. It’s a straightforward cost advantage compared with productions that require moving crew and equipment to external locations.

Room for customisation within the space

While the studio is intentionally left neutral, we do allow selective modifications where a production calls for it. Clients can request adjustments to certain fixtures, such as ceiling lights or wall colors, and are welcome to bring in additional props or customise the space to suit specific filming requirements. This gives clients a reasonable degree of creative control over their set without needing to source or build a studio from scratch, striking a balance between a ready-to-use space and one that can still be shaped around a particular brief.

Productions Already Filmed In Our Studio

Our in-house filming studio for video production has already been used for different types of corporate content, from conversational podcast-style productions to more structured organisational success stories. Here are some examples that were filmed within our studio, showing how the space can be adapted to different production formats and visual treatments.

An organisation’s success story filmed inside Vivid Media’s filming studio for video production.

This success story video was filmed inside Vivid Media’s in-house studio, using the space as a controlled environment for a structured corporate interview. The studio provides a consistent filming environment where the production team can manage elements like lighting, framing and audio, allowing the on-screen talents and their stories to remain the focus throughout the video. For a video production like this, having a controlled studio environment also means the visual treatment can remain consistent throughout the interview. There is no need to work around changing lighting conditions, background distractions or the unpredictability of a busy external location.

Podcast-style production filmed inside Vivid Media’s filming studio for video production.

Filmed inside the same in-house space, this podcast-style production takes a very different approach through a more relaxed and conversational format, with the interaction between speakers forming the center of the content. The studio can be configured with different seating arrangements to create a more natural environment for this type of production. Rather than using the space purely for formal interviews, it can be adapted for podcasts, conversational videos, thought leadership discussions and social media content where multiple speakers need to interact comfortably on camera.

Our studio has also been used as part of a skit, with selected portions of the production filmed within the Vivid Media studio. This project demonstrates another practical use of the space: the studio can serve as one controlled filming environment within a larger production rather than necessarily being the location for an entire video. Where a project requires footage from multiple locations, our in-house studio can be incorporated for specific segments or scenes that benefit from a more controlled setup.

Our in-house studio has also been used to film short-form social media content. This is a different production requirement from a longer corporate interview or podcast. Short-form social content often needs to be filmed with a more direct, engaging presentation in mind, while still maintaining a professional visual standard. Filming this type of content in our studio gives the production team a controlled environment that can be quickly adapted for different shots or pieces of content. This makes the space suitable not only for long-form corporate videos, but also for social media videos, corporate communications content and short-form branded productions.

Taken together, these productions show the range of ways our filming studio for video production can be used. The one common factor revolving all of the video productions is flexibility. Instead of being built around one permanent set or a single type of production, our studio can be configured around the requirements of your project.

Who Our Filming Studio For Video Production Suits

Based on the productions we have run inside the space so far, our filming studio for video production tends to suit a specific range of briefs rather than every type of shoot. It works well for:

  • Corporate interviews and leadership Q&A sessions
  • Podcast recordings and long-form conversational formats
  • Professional corporate photo shoots, including corporate portrait headshots
  • Testimonial and success story videos
  • Hybrid or virtual event segments that require a stable live streaming connection
  • Small-scale corporate video production that does not require an on-location shoot

It is less suited to large-scale event coverage or productions that genuinely need an on-location backdrop, since the studio is a controlled indoor space rather than a substitute for filming on-site at a client’s own premises.

But the studio is only one part of what Vivid Media does. Beyond studio filming, we cover the wider spectrum of corporate and creative media production. That includes social media videos for corporate communications, explainer videos, interviews and corporate branded content, as well as the filming, editing and post-production that bring them together.

When your production takes place outside the studio, our team can cover event photography and videography for conferences, corporate events, award ceremonies and galas, with same-day and on-site video editing same-day and on-site video editing available for events where content needs to be turned around quickly. This also applies to our event photography, where an on-site editor works in tandem with the photographer, editing and uploading finished images to a live photo gallery as the event unfolds.

And then there are the experiences. Our photo booth services range from magazine photo booths and professional LinkedIn portrait photo booths for corporate branding to AI photo booths with face-recognition galleries. So, while this article focuses on our filming studio for video production, the studio is really just one part of a much broader production capability.

Insights from the Vivid Media team

To provide a clearer picture of how studio bookings work, we spoke with Dylan about how our studio rental works, what clients should prepare before enquiring, and some of the practical considerations when booking the space.

How much does it cost to rent Vivid Media’s filming studio?

Dylan Seah, Producer: “Vivid Media offers a standard studio rental rate card, with pricing based on the number of hours the studio is booked. The studio rental rate itself does not change based on the number of on-screen talents. However, additional requirements outside the standard studio rental like production crew, equipment, lighting or other technical support, may incur additional charges.

For an accurate quotation, clients should provide:

  • Preferred filming date
  • Number of hours required
  • Number of on-screen talents
  • Type of video or content being filmed
  • Preferred studio setup
  • Required lighting, equipment or crew
  • Any additional production requirements

Clients can also request a site recce if they would like to visit the studio before committing to the shoot. This allows the production team to better understand the client’s intended setup and gives clients an opportunity to see whether the space works for their production.”

Can you book the filming studio last-minute?

Dylan Seah, Producer: “There is no fixed last-minute booking policy. Studio bookings can be made at relatively short notice, subject to our team’s availability and manpower. Clients are encouraged to enquire earlier where possible, particularly if they require Vivid Media’s production crew or additional equipment. However, a last-minute studio booking may still be accommodated if the client has their own crew and the studio is available.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Vivid Media charge more for additional talents?

Where is Vivid Media’s filming studio for video production located?

The studio is located at 30 Kallang Place, near the city fringe, with ample parking and a nearby canteen for longer shoot days.

That’s completely alright. You do not need to arrive with a complete technical specification. Our producers can then assess the requirements and recommend a suitable setup.
