We are happy to announce another successful videography collaboration with Golden Vision. Read on to find out more about timelapse videography, and this very meaningful project. It will surely evoke a sense of nostalgia in you.
The Tampines Town Council commissioned Golden Vision for a video production. This was meant to lead up to Singapore’s 51st National Day. To document the complete process of a mural that’s larger than life, our team had continuously shot scenes for over 20 days.
The project also hopes to promote learning about Singapore’s history and culture in the 1960s from our elders.
What is a Time Lapse Video?
A timelapse video speeds up time around an object, and is the perfect way to document and showcase the process of a project done within a long period of time. Additionally, you may view time lapse videos in full. This means you won’t be missing out on any details!
We had spent over 3 weeks filming to ensure we captured every moment.
More About The Project
The four old-school shops featuring different races and cultural backgrounds painted brought us back to the 60s. It also certainly brought back childhood memories of many Singaporeans.
The video showcases the effort that has been put into the mural and documented the transformation of an empty wall to a wall full of Singapore’s heritage.
Many passerby had stopped to observe the mural come to life. Doesn’t looking at this mural just remind you of shops in Singapore during the 60s?
